Working to improve the health and well-being of ALL women in the South is a big charge—to say the very least. And, while we’ve been making steady progress, there’s still a very long road ahead. To really create change we not only have get "out of the box," but we also need to reshape it into something different. As the old adage goes, we can’t keep doing the same things over and over and expect something to be different. But, finding new and innovative ways to facilitate (and accelerate) change is certainly easier said than done! So, what’s the answer?

Every Woman Southeast is focused on sparking innovation and creating unexpected—yet powerful—partnerships that will result in new tools and new approaches to more effectively address the challenges of improving women’s health and well-being. How? By building "snackable" resources through which we can share new ideas and strategies both within our areas of primary interest and, more importantly, outside of maternal and child health. By finding funders who are willing to support interesting ideas that forge unique partnerships. By sending our team out to meet people in other industries, check out different strategies and bringing this information back. And by offering access to training for the development of skills needed for all of us to think like entrepreneurs and lead for change.
